Screening $200

Screenings are more informal, but can indicate a general idea if more formal assessment is warranted given any signs of suspected areas of deficit. Report of screening results to be shared with parents.

Assessment/Evaluation $600

The assessment includes more in-depth formal evaluation of all suspected areas of deficit using norm-referenced tests. Testing results will yield standard scores that show how your child is performing in comparison to the developmental norms for his/her age group. Standardized tests are helpful in identifying whether or not a child demonstrates a speech language disorder or impairment, based on standardized scores and where they fall for what is expected at their age range. Below average scores may indicate areas of need and allow the speech therapist to clearly identify deficits to target in goals. Report of assessment results to be shared with parents after evaluation.

Therapy Sessions $175/hr

Therapy sessions are usually one to one.  30 minute sessions are provided twice a week for a total of 1 hour per week. The speech therapist will coordinate with the program director and/or teachers to find the best time to provide therapy on campus. Speech goals to target will be drafted after the first week, and daily session notes will be provided to parents to share progress.
